IOT CAMPAIGN FOR HYLAS-1 SATELLITE

The Hylas-1 Payload In Orbit Test (IOT) programme was conducted successfully at ESA‘ s centre at Redu. Hylas (Highly Adaptable Satellite) is the first satellite of AVANTI with flexible technology to reallocate bandwidth and power over 8 spot beams.

RSS fully met the challenges during the execution of this IOT campaign by tailoring RSS solutions for Avanti satellite:

• Coverage diversity (Spot beams configuration)
• Payload Flexibility
• Coordination with Indian platform and spacecraft
• Ground Control Centre (coordination and collaboration).
