ARTEMIS OPERATIONS

Since April 2003, Artemis was operational in its orbital slot at 21.5 degrees east. It was operating all of its communication services with a remarkable reliability.

Artemis was an essential contributing factor to the success of other ESA missions, such as Envisat and ATV.

The Operations of the Mission Operation Centre have developed a significant experience by meeting a different plethora of critical customer requirements for missions such as ATV, ENVISAT, SPOT4, and also demonstrator missions (LOLA, Bayernsat, USV, ORTIGIA).
